We've had an exciting week at Toppers – Stacey has been promoted to Junior Stylist; the salon has been WiFied up; and My New Hair has really taken off.
Stacey has been training at Toppers for two years this June, and has moved from being a Junior to being a Junior Stylist, moving onto the floor (as we say), taking her own clients, and doing colours and cuts.
While many of our customers enjoy the luxury of being out of touch while we pamper them in the salon, there are those who wish they could remain hooked up to the outside world while they are with us. Well now they can. Toppers has installed broadband WiFi. Customers simply need to bring in their own laptop and they can surf the Internet, send and receive emails, and shop online, all while our stylists make them look gorgeous.
Ever since Trevor Sorbie appeared in a piece about My New Hair on Look East last month (watch the My New Hair news item here), we have been receiving calls from customers with medical hair loss who didn't previously know about My New Hair. Thanks to Trevor's tireless campaigning, and the wonders of the Internet, these customers have been able to find our website and make contact with us. With our My New hair customers, we're able to help them choose a suitable wig if they haven't already got one. Once we have the right wig, we personalise it to the customer's specific requirements. My New Hair is making a big difference to the lives of many people suffering from medical hair loss, and we're proud that Toppers is part of it.
