January has been a busy month at Toppers. We did the hair styling for the fashion show at the City of Ely Community College, which unfortunately I couldn’t attend because of other commitments. But we shut the salon at midday and our fantastic team of girls – Mandy, Michelle, Louise, Zoe, Stacey and Ellis – sorted out different styles for 19 models, starting before lunch and working through until the evening without a break. January always feels a bit dull, so people like to try new
colours for the New Year. Last year we were doing a lot of full head colours – very nice, very shiny, darker colours. But this year we’re being asked to put panels back in – like the blue in Stacey’s hair – or the odd weaved section.
During one of the coldest Winter’s on record, our hair is taking a beating from central heating which dries out the hair and scalp. You can combat this with a Kérastase Ritual from Michelle, our Kérastase specialist, to condition your hair and stimulate growth and shine.
